AJ Marketing was founded by Susan Christie, a seasoned marketer with 27+ years of experience helping Australian businesses grow from the ground up. An accredited Certified Practising Marketer (CPM) by the Australian Marketing Institute, Susan has worked in the trenches, in the boardroom, and alongside hundreds of business owners who just need marketing that actually works.
Today, AJ Marketing is a boutique agency with offices in Melbourne and Brisbane, working with ambitious brands across Australia. We blend strategic thinking, creative execution and commercial smarts to deliver marketing that’s clever, considered and completely tailored to your business.

With 27+ years in marketing, Susan has carved out her niche supporting Australian SMEs. Her tactical and strategic expertise has helped businesses lift their ROI into the millions. A Certified Practicing Marketer with a Marketing Degree and two Mini MBAs, she brings depth, clarity and energy to every project. Seeing businesses thrive gets her out of bed each day (along with more coffee than she’ll ever admit to having).

If creativity had a king, Josh would hold the crown. As AJ’s creative lead, he brings imagination, calm and serious design power to every brand. He’s overseen the creation and evolution of countless logos, identities and visual worlds. When not designing, he’s risking those creative bones surfing, boxing or just navigating life.

The structured creative who turns direction into beautifully executed work. Andres brings precision, consistency and a sharp eye for detail to every project. He moves through tasks effortlessly, ensuring campaigns land with clarity and impact. Skilled across design and video editing, he elevates ideas beyond the brief every time.

Ami has written everything from bizarre Bowie conspiracies to the driest course content: all with the same passion and precision. Her wordcraft is sharp, expressive and impossible to outmatch. Organised to a level that puts the rest of us to shame, she brings structure and creativity to every brief.

Ben has managed some of the largest AdWords spends in Australia, and won. A constant presence in the digital world, his physical location is anyone’s guess. He reads algorithms like most people read street signs, and has the reporting to back it. Always on, always tracking, always optimising.

Jeff is our four-legged miniature dashie. Equal parts attitude and appetite, she brings disruption and distraction at all times.
She enjoys long naps during meetings, barking during client calls, and will trade all company secrets for bacon.
Jeff contributes nothing to strategy but everything to morale - unless you’re holding food, in which case, she’s suddenly head of partnerships.
